About the Instructor

Clement Benedict serves as the primary facilitator and director of the workshop, bringing firsthand understanding of the challenges faced by individuals navigating incarceration, re-entry, and systemic barriers. Raised in Brooklyn without consistent access to positive role models and formerly incarcerated himself, Clement draws directly from his lived experience to connect authentically with participants. He has facilitated workshops for hundreds of incarcerated and returning individuals and currently works in career readiness and re-entry support. Clement’s approach centers on building trust, fostering accountability, and creating a safe space for honest reflection and growth.

His facilitation style emphasizes accountability, self-reflection, and resilience, while supporting participants in identifying practical pathways toward stability, purpose, and long-term success. Through guided discussion, interactive exercises, and real-world application, participants are encouraged to strengthen emotional awareness, build professional confidence, and develop strategies for overcoming barriers in employment, education, and community reintegration.

This workshop is Clement’s flagship program, intentionally designed to support participants at every stage of their journey toward transformation. It is strengthened through intentional curriculum design, structured delivery, and continuous reflection to ensure alignment with participant needs and desired outcomes.
